President Trump Invites Relatives of Injured National Guard Personnel to the White House

Former President Donald Trump revealed on the weekend that he has invited the family of a National Guard member killed last week to attend the presidential home.

He mentioned that he spoke to her family and they were “devastated”.

Her comrade, Andrew Wolfe, 24, continues receiving treatment in serious condition.

The commander-in-chief stated he’s talked about a visit to the White House for the loved ones of both members of the state Guard.

“I told them: ‘When you’re able, because that’s a tough thing, visit the White House. We’re going to recognize her,” the president told journalists. “And in the same way with him, recover or not.”

Attendees came together over the weekend at Webster County high school in West Virginia to honor Beckstrom.

Both the soldiers had been serving with the West Virginia National Guard as part of the president’s national effort to assist law enforcement in DC.

She conducted herself with inner fortitude, a warm expression and a positive energy that encouraged people around her,” the principal, the leader of Beckstrom’s alma mater, stated to the media. “She was kind, caring and always eager to assist people.”

Memorial plans for Beckstrom are yet to be finalized.

Officials have accused a twenty-nine-year-old suspect with a charge of first-degree murder and charges of attempted murder while armed.

The event led the administration to pause asylum applications and cease issuing visas to possessors of Afghan passports.

Condition of Andrew Wolfe

The airman, a native of the city, started his military career in 2019 and is a graduate of his local high school, as reported by the AP.

He continues to receive treatment and is “fighting for his life”, West Virginia governor the governor stated on Fox News Channel’s The Sunday Briefing.

The state’s top lawyer the attorney general told Fox News Sunday that she planned to visit his relatives.

Sarah, from Summersville, graduated from her high school in mid-2023 and began her service not long after, serving as a law enforcement officer with distinction, according to the state guard.

“She had a lot of kindness and she definitely had fortitude,” Morrisey informed the audience at the memorial. “Though her life lasted far too short, she has made an impact that’s going to last forever.”
