The recorded message, released on Tuesday, includes six Democratic congress members who previously served in armed forces or security capacities.

"Similar to us, you all took an oath to defend and uphold this founding document," the lawmakers declared in the brief video. "And right now, the dangers to our democratic foundation don't only come from foreign nations, but from within our own country. Our statutes are explicit, you can refuse illegal orders, you can refuse illegal orders, you have to refuse improper directives. No one has to follow commands that violate the legal system or our founding principles."

Following Trump's remarks on Thursday, House Democratic leader released a joint declaration censuring the statements.

"Political violence has no position in the United States," they wrote. "Elected officials who appeared in the video all served our nation with exceptional loyalty and excellence. We unequivocally condemn Donald Trump's offensive and dangerous calls for execution against members of Congress, and call on House Republicans to forcefully do the same."

The party representatives also stated that they had been in touch with protective services "to make certain the security of these representatives and their families."

"Donald Trump must immediately delete these extreme social media posts and recant his violent discourse before he gets someone killed," the declaration added.

The representatives who appeared in the video also released a response.

"We serve as ex-military personnel and national security professionals who value this nation and made an vow to safeguard and uphold the national charter of the United States," they stated. "This commitment lasts a lifetime, and we aim to maintain it. No warning, coercion, or call for violence will deter us from that important duty."

"The most revealing aspect is that the former president considers it punishable by execution for us to restate the law," they added. "Military personnel should know that we have their support as they fulfill their oath to the constitution and responsibility to follow only lawful orders. It is not only the proper thing to do, but also our obligation."

They continued: "The entire nation must come together and censure the former president's calls for our murder and ideological conflict. This is a period for principled stance."

The Opposition leader also censured Trump's comments and shared on digital platforms: "We must be absolutely clear: the former president is calling for the execution of government members."

He added: "This represents an direct THREAT. Every Senator, all representatives, the entire nation – regardless of party – should denounce this right away and without qualification."

The Conservative official justified Trump's claim that the Democrats had participated in "treason", labeling the video as "highly unsuitable", adding: "It is very harmful, you have leading members of Congress instructing soldiers to ignore directives, I think that represents historic in the nation's past."

The Republican leader also reportedly stated to media outlets that in what he reviewed of Trump's messages, Trump was "explaining the offense of treason" but that "attorneys have to analyze the terminology and establish all that."

White House Statement

During a executive branch meeting on Thursday afternoon, when asked by a reporter, "Is the president want to kill congressional representatives?", the executive branch representative responded: "Absolutely not."

"It's important to note about what the president is addressing," the spokesperson declared. "There are active officials of the US Congress who worked together to arrange a video message to personnel of the national defense, to current military personnel advising them to ignore the executive's proper directives."

She said: "The integrity of our military depends on the command structure, and if that system is broken, it can cause casualties, it can cause disorder, and that's what these elected officials ... are basically supporting."
