The Congressional oversight panel has released a batch of roughly 70 photos from the estate of late convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the third release from a tranche of in excess of 95,000 images the committee has obtained from Epstein's property. It features images of quotes from the book Lolita written across a female's body, and obscured pictures of female international passports.

This action arrives just hours before the 19th of December cut-off for the DOJ to release each files connected to its inquiry into Epstein.

"These photographs pose additional inquiries about what exactly the DOJ has in its custody," remarked the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What's in the Photos Disclosed

A number of the images made public on recently show Epstein conversing with academic and activist Noam Chomsky aboard a private plane; Bill Gates positioned next to a individual whose face is censored; Steve Bannon sitting at a desk across from Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the latest high-net-worth, prominent men to be seen in Epstein property photos published by the committee - formerly released photos also depict US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, previous US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Showing up in the photographs is is not considered proof of any illegal activity, and many of the photographed figures have asserted they were in no way participating in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a statement issued alongside the image publication, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not offer explanatory details or timings for the pictures.

"Photos were selected to offer the American people with openness into a illustrative selection of the photographs received from the estate, and to offer understanding into Epstein's circle and his profoundly disturbing actions," the release reads.

The release also includes a number of photographs of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita written in ink across various areas of a female's body, such as her upper body, foot, hip, and back. Lolita narrates the story of a adolescent who was manipulated by a middle-aged literature professor.

A particular excerpt from the work written across a female's chest says, "Lolita's name: the tip of the tongue traveling of three steps down the roof of the mouth to alight, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a collection of photographs of female passports and official papers from nations around the world, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the information on the documents, such as identities and birth dates, is redacted but the House Oversight Committee stated in a announcement that the travel documents pertain to "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were engaging".

An additional photo features Epstein positioned at a table closely flanked by three women whose faces have been obscured - one individual has her palm on Epstein's torso under his shirt, and another individual is bending to look at a adjacent device. Epstein appears to be assisting the third put on a piece of jewelry.

An additional photograph disclosed is a screenshot of digital messages from an unknown person who states they have been supplied "a number of girls" and are demanding "$$1,000 for each individual".

Image Disclosure Occurs Prior to DOJ Due Date

The committee has thousands of photos in its possession from the Epstein property, which are "both explicit and mundane," its statement on recently noted.

The Congressional committee first legally compelled the holdings of Epstein, who died in a New York jail in 2019 while facing trial on allegations of sex trafficking, in August.

The images and documents the Epstein estate gave to the body are distinct from what is largely referred to "Epstein-related records". That material are papers within the DOJ's control related to its own inquiry into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which Donald Trump enacted in November, the DOJ has until 19 December to disclose its records. The full nature of what is included in the DOJ's records is unclear, and it's probable that much of the material will be heavily obscured, comparable to House Oversight Committee documents
