The concluding series of the streaming giant's supernatural smash hit the hit series is poised to be one of the biggest shows of 2024. Part one airs on the 27th of November, but a sneak peek of the spine-tingling opening five minutes has been released on the internet.
The Crawl: An Echo to the 1980s
The episode, titled the prologue, transports viewers back to the beginning of the story in the year 1983, in the wake of the disappearance of the boy.
"Should I stay or should I go?" Will sings in an effort to stay collected in the parallel world.
Events swiftly escalate into horrifying the moment a demogorgon materializes and pulls the character to the stronghold of the antagonist. "Finally, our work can start," he says to the captive while shooting a vine into his mouth. "The two of us, we will accomplish incredibly wondrous things in unison."
Release Schedule and Theater Showings
The second part of the final series will be broadcast on December 26, while the series finale released on the first of January – and will also have screened in specific movie theaters.

The summary states: "The fall of 1987. The town is scarred by the opening of dimensional tears, and our heroes join forces by one objective: hunt down and destroy the enemy. Yet his location is unknown – his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has enforced the town under armed isolation and stepped up the search for Eleven, forcing her into seclusion. When the yearly mark of the event approaches, comes a profound, familiar dread. The last showdown is approaching – and with it, an evil stronger and more dangerous than anything else they have battled in the past. To stop this nightmare, they will require everyone – the complete team – united, once more."
Behind the Scenes
The surprise clip was shared to YouTube after the show's Los Angeles premiere on Thursday, featuring actors including the lead actress and her co-star.
"The size of it is bigger … It features heightened thrills and increased visual effects, but it's also without a doubt the most emotional season since it concludes of the narrative for all of these characters," the production's head writer, recently said about the concluding installments.
His brother and partner, added: "Launching it to the public is stressful, but we're ready to present it at last."
